Chip Hanlon
President/CEO
Currently the president and founder of Delta Global Advisors, Chip Hanlon is regularly featured in the national media for his global economic viewpoints and is a contributing writer for Green Faucet as well as Real Money, the subscription service from TheStreet.com.
His investment career began on the international desk at Oppenheimer & Company, during his final trimester studying political science at UCLA in 1993. Previously, Hanlon served as the COO and chief domestic strategist at Euro Pacific Capital, the president of Unfunds, Inc., and the vice president of Investments and Syndicate Manager with Sutro & Co. Through his focus on individual portfolio management and his position as the Syndicate Director at Sutro, Chip developed a respect for, and in-depth understanding of, technical analysis as an important supplement to fundamental research. It was this analytical expertise that led him to create Unfunds in July of 2000.
Mr. Hanlon is a member of American Mensa, a founding investor in Red County Magazine and was on the budget task force of Bill Simon, 2002 republican candidate for governor in the state of California. He has carried NASD Series 3, 4, 7, 8, 24, 66, 86 & 87 licenses (currently dormant, DGA is not a broker/dealer, but an SEC-registered RIA).
